Croteam, the minds behind the Serious Sam franchise, has released its fourth Serious Sam-themed VR game: Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE (2017) for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Now available, Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE is a fast-paced shooter serving as a prequel to the original Serious Sam: The First Encounter (2001). While it’s technically a VR port of the 6-year old Serious Sam 3: BFE (2011), and not really designed from the ground-up for VR, that’s probably not going to bother a lot of hardcore first-person shooter fans as they step into the shoes of Sam for the fourth time.
